In math clas today we explored a new interactive website to practice doing some addition problems. We will visit it again when we move into the other operations. The site is called Drag and Drop math, and I have added it in the math links section.

A Great Way to Warm Up for Math
Today in math class for a warm-up activity we practiced reading large numbers which is one of the most difficult skills in the first chapter. The students traded places a few times, and it worked out really well.

Great Student Work
Today in math class we worked on changing numbers from standard form to expanded form and vice versa. Here a student works on a difficult problem and handles it well
